Report Writing Short Course

Writing reports that accurately gather and interpret all appropriate information before converting it into a logical and easy to understand form is a skill that requires special attention to detail. This means that reports must be prepared so that they can be used to determine future actions by the appropriate parties once these reports have been tabled, analysed, discussed and decisions recorded.

The course will show you how to collect the appropriate information, how to process it and how to document it in a reader friendly format. Learn how to craft an Executive Summary and master the art of presenting a report that meets the original requirements or brief.

A key area of our teaching method is the use of examples, assignments and solutions to business scenarios relating to the South African work environment. 

 

The Report Writing course comprises theory as well as self-assessment tasks with memoranda and model answers. In addition there are assignments that you must submit for personalised comments. The modules and feedback are motivational and designed to encourage you so that you won’t want to give up halfway.
